About Billy G Amusements
We're a Collingwood-based travelling midway with 15+ years running rides, games and fun food across Ontario — from the Georgian Triangle to fairs, festivals and events well beyond it.
Where we started
Our roots go back to GTA Midways, a travelling midway operation that served the Greater Toronto Area. Over the years the show grew and moved its home base north to Collingwood, and today Billy G Amusements runs the same kind of travelling carnival — our own rides, our own crew — across the Georgian Triangle region and out into fairs, festivals, schools and private events all over Ontario.
One ride from that earlier era worth remembering fondly is the Orient Express, a family coaster that toured with the GTA Midways show before it was retired from the roster. It's not part of the current lineup, but it's part of where this show came from.
Where we started
What makes a travelling show
A real travelling midway owns its equipment and runs it with its own people. We maintain and transport our own rides, games and fun-food stands, and our own trained crew sets them up, runs them for the length of your event, and tears them down afterward. That's the difference between booking a midway and booking a stack of rented equipment nobody on site actually knows how to run.
